Edith Lau

Role and experience

Edith joined Frequency Telecom in 2021 as Purchasing Assistant, before progressing into the role of Purchasing Executive. Her previous experience across ODM, OEM and EMS environments has given her a strong understanding of production processes and supplier management.

Combined with her background in buying and planning, Edith has developed a practical understanding of product development, procurement and supply chain processes. This experience helps her manage projects efficiently and work closely with suppliers to support the successful launch of new products.

What Edith does at Frequency

As Product Development Executive, Edith helps manage the product development process from supplier communication through to product launch. She works externally with suppliers by email, WeChat and phone, while also collaborating closely with internal teams across the business.

Her day-to-day work includes using NetSuite to support procurement processes, monitoring orders and helping ensure products meet the required quality standards. Edith also supports the development of screen protectors, selected Mako products and other product ranges, helping coordinate the information, samples and updates needed throughout the development process.
