The 6 refers to dust and gives the highest level of dust and particle protection. The 9K refers to water and gives the highest level of protection against high-pressure water ingress. MIL-SPEC 810G — This is a standard set down by the US Military and covers over 20 laboratory tests Peak 3000m is tested under these standards for water ingress using tests 506.50 for rain protection and test 512.5 for immersion in water.Eiger 20,000 Hour WarrantyEiger is committed to quality and offer a 20,000 hour (2 year) warranty for manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
