With the UK headphone market now worth in excess of £163m we believe that our new audio range will help customers capitalise on this massive growth market.
As mobile device users demand more accessories to get the most out of their handsets, and the convergence of mobile and music continues, the headphone market has nearly doubled in size in the past five years. Furthermore, according to GFK Retail & Technology UK, consumers bought more than 10 million pairs of headphones in 2011, almost two million more sets than 2010. As you are probably aware the use and desire for earphones is evident across all walks of life and our audio portfolio has been designed to ensure we can deliver a range for all customer segments and price levels. We have already received great feedback from our JAYS and thinksound™ range and look forward to bringing you a complete multiple brand portfolio.
Finally, as we eagerly await the release of the New iPhone in September, we have enhanced our Case-Mate range with some new and exciting designs, that’s why Case-Mate remains the UK’s leading brand. As always we will continue to manage the distribution channel carefully, protect margin, hold stock to deliver on time and provide marketing support to drive sales for our customers.
