The whole world is excited and awaiting the new launch of the new iDevice. All reliable sources report that Apple is planning to hold an event on September 12th to announce the next iPhone and possibly other iDevices.

Design & screen
According to Mashable rumours swirling around the iPhone 5 have gadget watchers dizzy with anticipation. The new iPhone design should feature bigger screen size, thinner display, Siri song-and-dance numbers & more. A snippet of the official Apple iPhone 5 promo video has leaked online. Check this out:
Apple seems to be finally building a bigger screen for the iPhone. Reuters reported a 3.5-inch screen which is definitely a standout in today’s smartphone line up filled with 4 inchers or bigger. The top two Android handsets for 2012 feature a 4.7-inch and a 4.8-inchscreen respectively.
Also as reported by Cnet UK a smaller pin connector seems to be replacing the traditional 30 pin Apple connector.
In terms of the processor A6 is a widely expected to style the performance of the next iPhone. Cnet says the A6 chip is reportedly a 28-nanometer process, as compared with the A5’s 45nm, meaning lower energy consumption and higher speeds. The faster processor would improve the performance of Siri, the iPhone 4S’ integrated voice assistant, as well as a host of other features, such as still and video image capture.
A reported by PC Advisor the new iPhone will have a “multi-point camera focusing system”. Apple was recently awarded a patent for a multi-point camera focusing system and it seems to be a natural occurrence to put the patent to use with the new iPhone.
Beyond the aforementioned changes, there are a bunch of rumours indicating some additional upgrades the new iPhone could bear.
One of the big things expected out of the new iPhone is its ability to enable mobile payments. Google has been on the NFC/mobile wallet bandawagon as mentioned by The Telegraph.
Additionally according to engadget Apple extended its exclusive deal with LiquidMetal to use their innovative alloy in Apple products. Speculation is that the new iPhone could feature some or a lot of it.
The iPhone 4S was an evolutionary product that built on the tremendous success of the iPhone 4. There are major expectations for the next iPhone to be revolutionary as Android devices and the OS have come a long way in the last 2 years.
