27th May 2014 – London – Frequency, the exclusive UK distributor for JAYS, the Swedish headphone maker, is delighted to announce that the a-JAYS Five range of multi-platform in-earphones have been ranged by Selfridges in its London store. Reaching out to consumers who require excellent sound quality along with control over their mobile devices, Selfridges selected the a-JAYS Five thanks to its multi-device control system; three versions of the award winning earphones are available – iOS, Android and Windows phone. Available in the London store now, in addition Selfridges will soon be ranging the a-JAYS Five at its Birmingham store and on-line.
Frequency worked closely with its partner Tekzone to create the retail solution for Selfridges, which includes a dedicated point of sale area that clearly outlines the various control options, which mobile platforms they are compatible with and the availability of each model in white or black. Crucially, it was vital that the store staff understood the range, so JAYS ran an extensive in-store training session for all customer-facing staff.
Speaking of the ranging, Richard Warren, buyer for Tekzone Sound and Vision, said, “With the popularity of Apple and Android devices and recent increased interest in Windows’ phones, we wanted an earphone that combined leading performance with cross-platform control. The a-JAYS Five perfectly suits our needs and we are sure that it will be a big success.”
