Frequency has announced that it is introducing a new case brand to the UK market this autumn – Pong. Offering three distinctive collections, Pong cases are embedded with patented antenna technology that redirects radiation away from the user while also improving signal strength. Continuing its drive to offer distinctive and innovative brands, Frequency has set up exclusive arrangements to distribute Pong cases across the UK and Europe.
Featuring a micro-thin gold antenna secreted into the back of the case, Pong has developed a patented technology that redirects radiation away from a user’s head and body, reducing exposure to a mobile device’s radiation by up to five times in normal use, and re-directing the otherwise wasted signal towards the cell tower.
As well as improving outgoing signal strength and range, Pong cases may also improve battery life, as the antenna technology assists the device to communicate more efficiently with the cell tower. Available in Rugged, Sleek and Classic designs, Pong cases are available in multiple colours across the iPhone (including iPhone 6 and 6 Plus), iPad and iPad mini ranges.
“We are always on the look out for unique products and Pong offers innovative solutions that our customers have been asking for. In addition to our retail customers, for which we have worked closely with Pong to create compelling in-store retail options to make sure they stand out from the crowd, we have also been targeting the B2B sector, as any case that can help improve reception whilst offering this level of protection is clearly a benefit for corporate users.”
– John Willoughby, Managing Director at Frequency.
Pong cases are available from Frequency now and will be available in Selfridges via Tekzone (Classic Case for iPhone 5/5S and Sleek for iPhone 6 in black or grey) from November 2014, with an MSRP starting from £49.99. Pong cases can also be purchased from www.amazon.co.uk
